'New car smell' as space station crew enters Dragon capsule - CNN.com: ""Commercial spaceflight will blossom due to its own merits, and doesn't really hinge on one mission," Pettit said. SpaceX’s Dragon mission markes the first time a private company has sent a space vehicle to the ISS, but it will not be the last. The spacecraft is carrying station supplies this time, but future flights will be manned. Musk said this morning that the spacecraft can comfortably seat seven astronauts.

Musk, though, had been cagey about the almost mythical Star Trek-inspired cargo. However, when Mashable asked if “Scotty’s” remains were on board, Musk quickly replied, “We are carrying the ashes of several people and I am told Scotty is in there.” Musk did not offer any details about the identities of the other remains.

MooPig's Brain Industries :: Music: It's in your head, changing your brain

ALL MUSIC LOVERS MUST READ THIS ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTED HERE IN MOOPIG -- ARTICLE IN ENTIRETY HERE ...!

Music: It's in your head, changing your brain - CNN.com: Excerpt |
(CNN) -- Michael Jackson was on to something when he sang that "A-B-C" is "simple as "Do Re Mi." Music helps kids remember basic facts such as the order of letters in the alphabet, partly because songs tap into fundamental systems in our brains that are sensitive to melody and beat. ( Elizabeth Landau, CNN. Sat May 26, 2012. LINK)
'via Blog this'

Music was First

Bone flutes have been dated to about 40,000 to 80,000 years ago, so people were at least playing music. Experts assume that people were probably singing before they went to the trouble of fashioning this instrument, Levitin said. In Judaism, the Torah was set to music as a way to remember it before it was written down.
"The structures that respond to music in the brain evolved earlier than the structures that respond to language," Levitin said.

When you sit down at the piano and learn how to play a song, your brain has to execute what's known as a "motor-action plan." It means that a sequence of events must unfold in a particular order, your fingers must hit a precise pattern of notes in order. And you rehearse those motor movements over and over, strengthening the neural circuits the more you practice.

Musicians can't see inside their own brains, but they're aware of moments of tension and release in pieces, and that's what arrangers of music do.

"As you're anticipating a moment of pleasure, you're making predictions about what you're hearing and what you're about to hear," he said. "Part of the pleasure we derive from it is being able to make predictions."

Curiously, some birds can mimic what they hear and move to beats. Patel's research with a cockatoo suggests the beat responses may have originated as a byproduct of vocal mimicry, but also play a role in social bonding, Patel said. Armies train by marching to a beat, for instance. Group dancing is a social activity. There also are studies showing that when people move together to a beat, they're more likely to cooperate with each other in nonmusical tasks than if they're not in synch.

There's also some evidence to suggest that music can help Alzheimer's patients remember things better, and that learning new skills such as musical instruments might even stave off dementia.
"If you think about trying to teach a toddler how to read, and the alphabet, and all that stuff, before they can speak, we'd realize how silly that really is," Wooten said. "Kids most of the time quit, because they didn't come there to learn that. They came to learn to play."
He remembers learning to play music in an immersive way, rather than in a formulaic sequence of lessons. When he was born, his four older brothers were already playing music and knew they needed a bass player to complete the band. "My brothers never said, 'This is what you're going to do,'" he said.
Wooten took this philosophy and created summer camps to get kids excited about music in a more natural way. ( Elizabeth Landau, CNN. Sat May 26, 2012. LINK) ... "

Are Consumers Truly Free to Make Choices in the Market, or are they oppressed, manipulated, deviously twisted, constrained and held down?

EXCERPT  |  " ... When the umpire calls the runner safe at home plate, a corporate logo appears on the television screen, and the play-by-play announcer must say, ‘Safe at home. Safe and secure. New York Life.’ ” (Thomas L. Friedman. May 12, 2012. HERE ).... "

This looks like a fun book to read. We might download it to our Kindle Fire.
" ... And while I knew that retired baseball players sell their autographs for $15 a pop, I had no idea that Pete Rose, who was banished from baseball for life for betting, has a Web site that, Sandel writes, “sells memorabilia related to his banishment. For $299, plus shipping and handling, you can buy a baseball autographed by Rose and inscribed with an apology: ‘I’m sorry I bet on baseball.’ For $500, Rose will send you an autographed copy of the document banishing him from the game.” (ibid.)... "
The author says the end of the cold war caused us to celebrate by becoming a "market society." The results of that we are seeing today.
" ... he argues, when America’s victory was interpreted as a victory for unfettered markets, thus propelling the notion that markets are the primary instruments for achieving the public good. (ibid.) ..."
Compared to the 1960's our market society looks like a class war. The corporate sponsors look like the Bureau Chiefs of China sitting in skyboxes at the corporate named stadiums "even at college games — that cost tens of thousands of dollars a season, and hoi polloi sit out in the rain."

Arguments for the 'common good' are difficult to make in a commercialized society. Manipulation of demographic groups is thinly disguised as a struggle between 'haves' and 'have nots.' How can Democracy survive in this type of "market society, skyboxification of American life,... and it is troubling...." decline? The author would hope that sanity could rise above this trend. But we at MooPig know that bombast often wins in our 'market' society.

Until 2006, Kodak had a nuclear reactor, weapons-grade uranium, in its basement: "File this one under “strange, but true — and completely terrifying”: Until 2006, beleaguered imaging company Kodak had a fully functioning nuclear reactor, packed with weapons-grade uranium, in the basement of one of its buildings near Rochester, New York. And according to the Democrat and Chronicle (a local Rochester newspaper), almost nobody in the community knew about it — until now."

'via Blog this'
By 2006, however, Kodak apparently figured that it no longer needed its own nuclear reactor, and got the U.S. Federal government to help safely transport the uranium to a secure storage facility in South Carolina.
But we never thought we would be able to associate the phrases “nuclear reactor” and “enriched uranium” with the once-great photography giant — until recently that is. That’s because a few months ago a former Kodak employee let slip to the Democrat and Chronicle the existance of a little known, and never publicized, nuclear reactor hidden in the bowels of Kodak city for the last 30 years. Rappers Do Not Delight in Morocco and Iran - NYTimes.com

The song, by the rapper Shahin Najafi, is addressed to Imam Naghi, a revered Shiite Muslim cleric who died in the ninth century. The song’s lyrics include some profanity and sexual innuendo, according to a translation of some verses by Golnaz Esfandiari, a blogger for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, the American-financed news network. But what caused a stir in Iran was a chorus in which Mr. Najafi asks for Imam Naghi to return instead of Imam Mahdi, the Shiite messiah.

'via Blog this'

For those who would die for their art, $20 grand doesn’t even cover the bounty:

” … Thomas Erdbrink reported, an Iranian rapper living in Germany recently ran afoul of a leading cleric back home because of a song deemed heretical. The ayatollah’s fatwa in turn led an Islamist Web site to offer a $100,000 bounty for his killing. …”
Hey Naghi! Now that Mahdi has slept, we are calling you.
Hey Naghi! We are ready wearing our shrouds, hey Naghi! Rise up!
Naghi! For sake of love and Viagra.
Naghi, I swear on your sense of humor
On this exile that is far from [you]
On the great organ of life
That sits behind us in a threatening mode
Naghi, I invoke you on the length and width of sanctions
On the rising value of the dollar and the feeling of humiliation
Naghi, I swear on the cardboard imam
On the baby who was saying “Ali!” while stuck in his mother’s womb

90 Percent of Corn Seeds Are Coated With Bayer's Bee-Decimating Pesticide | Mother Jones: "When a company dominates markets and can buy lobbying power in Washington, its products don't actually have to work, I suppose."

When seed companies decided to begin genetic storage of all the seeds in the world, it was ground breaking news. Now it has become a capitalists' domination of the market: Genetically Engineered [GE] Seeds. The first and largest player is Monsanto:
" ... The Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) is a multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation. It is the world's leading producer of the herbicide glyphosate, marketed in the Roundup brand, and in other brands. Monsanto is also the second largest producer of genetically engineered (GE) seed; it provides the technology in 49% of the genetically engineered seeds used in the US market. It is headquartered in Creve Coeur, Missouri.
("Monsanto CFO to retire." St. Louis Business Journal. Wednesday 12 August 2009. Retrieved on 19 August 2009.) ... "
Monsanto has been one of top ten chemical companies since 1940's ...
The 1940s saw Monsanto become a leading manufacturer of plastics, including polystyrene and synthetic fibers. Since then, it has remained one of the top 10 US chemical companies. Other major products have included the herbicides 2,4,5-T, DDT, and Agent Orange used primarily during the Vietnam War as a defoliant agent (later found to be contaminated during manufacture with highly carcinogenic dioxin), the artificial sweetener aspartame (NutraSweet), bovine somatotropin (bovine growth hormone (BST)), and PCBs....Also in this decade, Monsanto operated the Dayton Project, and later Mound Laboratories in Miamisburg, Ohio, for the Manhattan Project, the development of the first nuclear weapons and, after 1947, the Atomic Energy Commission. ("Monsanto Held Liable For PCB Dumping". The Washington Post. Retrieved 5 April 2010.)
In 2009 Monsanto is still very large and dominant in chemical markets, but anti-trust rules are being scrutinized by the Department of Justice, and litigation from around the world has made Monsanto a different kind of headliner.

'via Blog this'

Since 1982 Monsanto has developed GE seed and experimented with crops of them in use.

In January 2010, Monsanto was named company of the year by Forbes.
Monsanto is the largest producer of glyphosate herbicides through its popular brand, Roundup. A report released in June 2011 linked glyphosate to birth defects in frog and chicken embryos at dilutions much lower than those used in agricultural and garden spraying. (Roundup and birth defects: Is the public being kept in the dark? by Michael Antoniou, Mohamed Ezz El-Din Mostafa Habib, C Vyvyan Howard, Richard Jennings, Carlo Leifert, Rubens Onofre Nodari, Claire Robinson, John Fagan. CONCLUSION: Monsanto has its finger in everyone's soup ... worldwide.

Facebook's epic fail - latimes.com:
Maybe the dumb money wasn’t so dumb this time.

The stock market did turn out to be a voting machine on Facebook on Friday (to quote Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham), and the vote was thumbs-down on flapdoodle.

Market pros will be debating the lessons to be drawn from the disastrous first-day trading in Facebook’s initial public offering. But one lesson is that when given enough information, investors can find their way through fogbanks of hype.

When a stock offering is as closely followed as Facebook’s, it’s much more likely that the shares will be fully valued than that they’ll harbor hidden treasure. Facebook went public at $38 a share, and after a day of epically heavy trading, closed at $38.23, for a gain of 0.61%. Not quite the huge pop market mavens were predicting.

The Internet is the most interesting purveyor of Brain Science. It is a giant mind-map all its own. I had not surfed the Net for a while, but as soon as I did here jumps out this amazing blogger site. Cool brain industry all the way, Bob.

Take a Look.

What is essential to understanding is how much we retain of our reading and other stimulus gathering tasks. It is a sin to read and not retain some of the important parts. And, those of us 'with-out' the gene's that make us a few points near genius with photographic memories, mind mapping always seems pleasurable to the not so genius, mine, brain.

Call this a site review, but more than that ... it is a look into solving puzzles that we might have been stumped with for a lifetime.

MooPig Re-Run :: "Bejeweled BLITZ!! What I dislike about You"

Some Concerns I have about this Game I play on FaceBook
by Pat Darnell

Bejeweled BLITZ! is the old game in a new package with the need for speed. The old game, Bejeweled versions 1 and 2 Endless, I have sat and played like it were a cross word puzzle -- in Cantonese -- staring I eternally at the various shaped jewels fall as "I match Three -- match Four -- match Five" ... and so on. Sheeeesh! Life was a constant: constant as in "KO" -- always a winner!

Today Bejeweled BLITZ has a timer that you have to make those same matches under only one minute: that's Sixty seconds, my friends! Big blasts and words of encouragement come over your speakers, but in the last few seconds the game begins to groan like a hapless llama. Old timer Bejewelers might extinguish if they try to do this! Sorry if I lose you here reader... yes it is an angst post today. [HERE is another Blog post at "Trends Daily" on the subject]

Please, also, don't tell my parents about any of this. It's difficult enough they have to find their email, and Dad still does the crossword every day. If he found out what his number two son is up to ... he might -- you know -- not understand.

I have actual friends from fBook who score over 400,000 points in under sixty-seconds. Yep.

I have family members who score over 300,000 bejewel points in that scant passage of time. I am peaked out at 213,000 for over the nine weeks I have attempted to play with these 'Big Boys.' That's it; that's all I got.

Now I have to speak out. For the sake of my computer, located at rural-route-fire-stop 11693 in College Station, Texas; "Why does my 256 VECTRA VL420 MT have to be a storehouse of old Adobe versions."

Why do I get unlicensed, daily updates from the children of questionable origins at Adobe, or whoever does this altruistic act?

I cleaned out the 2000 million bytes of Adobe on several ocassions ...

... is BJ BLITZ responsible? I think so; the proximity of parables is too close [my wording for those unexplained computer PC avenues not taken].

Formula for imponderableness:

BJ BLITZ via fBook [plus+] Adobe FLASHPlayer [times x] my PC [equals=] 213,000 points max.

Now take nine weeks in minutes, and that is a dedicated 90,720 minutes possible .... hmmmmm?

... The Avenue not taken is that I do not think I can overcome my short fall in this game, with my present HP Orphan PC. Nope. I maxed it out by playing this version of BJ BLITZ! And here is the weirdness of this saga -- when I close my eyes much later after playing BJ BLITZ, I still see the images of the jewels in formations, just like in the game. YIKES!

I would have to say: "My jewels are cut... in this scare-nario of fBook intro's... eh?" You know my goose is cooked ...

Trouble is, I can never go 'back' to Bejeweled Classic, in a personal sense. Not anymore than I can ever return to Word Jumbles, or coloring books.... I am sadly smitten of what transpires in sixty seconds. But as I have shown you, hopefully some anaytical-lite questioning will help this sad situation.

EUREKA! If I had more than 256 RAM I probably could score higher with the balsy players on blasted Bejeweled BLITZ!!

[Oh, great; I just see now on channel Three TV -- we are in a Heat Advisory... ]

That's another thing ... if my processor ran cooler... and so on, with all the "IF's." On second thought: Just forget about it... !

Happy Scoring -- you bunch of Minute Men! May your jewels fall if they haven't already.
... and, that's my Report from the Middle. Thanks for stopping by.

MooPig's Brand Department :: Discusses the Terrorists' BRAND

Jon Stewart Mocks Osama Bin Laden's Letters (VIDEO):
With this week marking the one-year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death, the government released previously-unseen documents that were recovered inside bin Laden's home during the raid.

The cache of thousands of documents, which CNN referred to as a "treasure trove," contains correspondences between the leader and his contacts where he talks about everything from assassination aspirations to the "bin Laden brand."

MooPig's Poetry Coroner :: "EVELYN SCOTT"

Precipitations

HARMONICS
FAUNS,
Eternal pagans,
Beautiful and obscene,
Leaping through the street
With a flicker of hoofs,
And a flash of tails,
You want dryads
And they give you prostitutes.
Your souls are wet flowers,
Bathed in kisses and blood.
Golden Clyties,
The wheel of light
Rushes over your breasts.
Women are flitting around in their shells.
Pale dilutions of the waters of the world
Come through the windows.
Back and forth the women glide in their little waters;
Cellar to garret and garret to cellar,
Winding in and out under door arches and down passages,
They and their spawn,
In the shell,
In the cavern.
You may come in the shell to overpower her,
Males,
But in the shell, in the shell.
She cannot be torn from the shell without dying;
And what is the pleasure of intercourse with the dead?
Souls as dry as autumn leaves,
The color long since out.
The organ plays.
The leaves crackle and rustle a little;
Then sink down.
Old ladies with gray moss on their chins,
Old men with camphor and cotton packed around their heads,
Thin child spirits, sharp and shrill as whistles.
Gray old trees;
Gaunt old woods;
Souls as dry as leaves
After autumn is past.
Blind, they storm up from the pit.
You gave them the force,
You, when You poured the measure of agony into them.
Didn't You know what it would be,
Giving blind people fire?
Not gold and red and amber fire,
But marsh fire.
Fire of ice,
Suffering forged into suffering!
They are coming up now.
The sword is uplifted in the hands of the monster.
My valiant little puppets,
Did you think you could stand out against this?
Pierrot and Columbine breeding in the flowers....
There must be no flowers.
Black man hanged on a silver tree;
(Down by the river,
Slow river,
White breast,
White face with blood on it.
)
Black man creaks in the wind,
Knees slack.
Brown poppies, melting in moonlight,
Swerve on glistening stems
Across an endless field
To the music of a blood white face
And a tired little devil child
Rocked to sleep on a rope.
Crystal columns,
When they bend they crack;
Brittle souls,
Conforming, yet not conforming–
Mirrors.
Masculine souls pass across the mirrors:
Whirling, gliding ecstasies–
Retreating, retreating,
Dimly, dimly,
Like dreams fading across the mirrors.
Then the mirrors,
Stark and brilliant in the sunshine,
Blank as the desert,
Blank as the Sphinx,
Winking golden eyes in the twinkles of light,
Silent, immutable, vacuous infinity,
Illimitable capacity for absorption,
Absorbing nothing.
Have the shapes and the shadows been swallowed up
In your recesses without depth,
You drinkers of life,
Twinkling maliciously
Your golden yellow eyes,
Mirrors winking in the sunshine?
Gray old spinners,
Weaving with the crafty fibers of your souls;
Nothing was given you but those impalpable threads.
Yet you have bound the race,
Stranglers,
With your silver spun mysteries.
All the cruel,
All the mad,
The foolish,
And the beautiful, too:
It all belongs to you
Since the first time
That you began to drop the filmy threads
When the world was half asleep.
Sometimes you are young girls;
Sometimes there are roses in your hair.
But I know you–
Sitting back there in the hollow shadows of your wombs.
The crafty fibers of your souls
Are woven in and out
With the fibers of life.
Sometimes women with eyes like wet green berries
Glide across the slick mirror of their own smiles
And vanish through lengths of gold and marble drawing rooms.
The marble smiles,
As sensuous as snow;
Hips of the Graces;
Shoulders of Clytie;
Breasts frozen as foam,
Frozen as camelia bloom;
Mounds of marble flesh,
Inexplicable wonder of white....
I dream about statuesque beauties
Who look from the shadows of opera boxes;
Or elegant ladies in novels of eighteen thirty,
At the hunt ball...
Reflections in a polish floor,
A portrait by Renoir,
A Degas dancing girl,
English country houses,
An autumn afternoon in the Bois,
Something I have read of...
In sleep one vision retreating through another,
Like mirrors being doors to other mirrors,
Satin, and lace, and white shoulders,
And elegant ladies,
Dancing, dancing.
Death,
Being a woman,
Being passive like all final things,
Being a mother,
Waits.
Shining faces
Gray and melt into her flesh.
Death envies those asleep in her,
Little children who have come back,
Fiery faces,
Bright for a moment in the darkness,
Extinguished softly in her womb.

Excerpt by "Mahmud Kianush"
[ ... ]
It is easy for poets
To talk of love
In beautiful songs and sonnets,
Lamenting the sufferings of separation,
Or enjoying the delight of union
With a real or
an imaginary beloved.

... But of the real terror
That tears the heart of a crying child
Abandoned to its fate
Amid the burning debris of war,

No one has ever written
That great tragic ode
And it will remain unworded
To the end of man and earth.

Wars of nerves
November 11, 2009  |  From An Equal Voice  | Read Entire Poem HERE

War from behind the lines is a dizzy jumble.

Revolving chairs, stuffy offices, dry as dust

reports, blueprints one day and the next –

with the help of a broken-down motor car

and a few gallons of petrol – marching men

with sweat-stained faces and shining eyes,

horses straining and plunging at the guns,

little clay-pits opening beneath each step,

and piles of bloody clothes and leggings

outside the canvas door of a field hospital.

At the end of the week there is no telling

whether you spent Tuesday going over

the specifications for a possible laundry

or skirting the edges of hell in an automobile.

Although he’s no longer the Laureate Andrew Motion has marked Remembrance Day this year with a very public poem, ‘An Equal Voice‘, which used ‘found lines’ about shellshock and post traumatic stress to bring this particular ... and distinctively distressing ... experience to mind, shared to some degree by all survivors of war. As he wrote in the introduction:
This is a “found” poem, a stitching together of the voices of shellshocked people. Their words have been taken from a variety of sources, from the first world war to the present, and are presented in the poem in roughly chronological order. There’s a fragment of Siegfried Sassoon in there, but most are from unknown soldiers.
As he acknowledges he has also drawn on Ben Shephard’s history of military psychiatry, A War of Nerves, and the title is taken from a quote from Shephard’s book:
“We hear more from doctors than patients. However hard he tries, the historian cannot even the account, cannot give the patients an equal voice, because most of them chose not to recount their experiences.”
Oddly, Shephard’s response was that the poem was plagiarism, which surprised me, coming from the author of a fine ... and undeservedly out of print ... book. It’s not. But perhaps the history of the objet trouvé hasn’t yet collided with the history of the military.

The whole poem is technically quite interesting – 6 fourteen line stanzas. I’ve reproduced the first one here and recommend reading the whole thing, which was published last ... [Nov 7, 2009] ... Saturday in the Guardian Review and builds, memorably, towards a conclusion.

MooPig's Poetry Coroner :: "Jan and Dean -- Dead Man's Curve"

[Picture LINK]

I was cruisin' in my Stingray late one night
When an XKE pulled up on the right
And rolled down the window of his shiny new Jag
And challenged me then and there to a drag
I said, "you're on, buddy, my mill's runnin' fine
Let's come off the line, now, at Sunset and Vine
But I'll go you one better if you've got the nerve
Let's race all the way
To Dead Man's Curve"

Chorus:

Dead Man's Curve, it's no place to play
Dead Man's Curve, you must keep away
Dead Man's Curve, I can hear 'em say:
"Won't come back from Dead Man's Curve"

The street was deserted late Friday night
We were buggin' each other while we sat out the light
We both popped the clutch when the light turned green
You shoulda heard the whine from my screamin' machine
I flew past LaBrea, Schwab's, and Crescent Heights
And all the Jag could see were my six taillights
He passed me at Doheny then I started to swerve
But I pulled her out and there we were
At Dead Man's Curve

Partial chorus:

Dead Man's Curve, it's no place to play
Dead Man's Curve

Dramatic interlude:

Well - the last thing I remember, Doc, I started to swerve
And then I saw the Jag slide into the curve
I know I'll never forget that horrible sight
I guess I found out for myself that everyone was right

"Won't come back from Dead Man's Curve"

GOD'S MERCIES

A "rhyme" written by Ken Wright, 1921

Sects, creeds and theories
Are thoughts seeking the light;
Nations and races of people
Constantly are seeking the right.
-----
All have desires within them
God's truth to understand,
Evidence of honour and justice
Are witnessed in every land.
-----
Each has a creed or a theory
Many a faith strong and true,
All are God's children in weakness
Righteous lives they seek anew.
-----
God's hand is seen all around us
His mercies and blessings abound,
On that day when all must face Him
He then our course will expound.

Blogger Excerpt: " ... My mother's family, the Perrys (see site http://dicktheblogster7.blogspot.com/)
were descendants of United Empire Loyalists who found their way into Canada by way of Cape Breton Island and Newfoundland. So no matter how you slice the encorporated family tree, we've been "working" this North American soil for a long time ... "

" ... Both sets of grandparents, Wesley and Louise Wright and Nelson and Harriet (Peck) Perry, were prominent in Dresden in the late 1800s and early 1900s, as were my mother and father, Grace and Ken, in later years. It is to these dear folks that I dedicate this site ... "

MooPig's Poetry Coroner :: "Wimpy"

Little known facts about this moocher of burgers: Wimpy.

He originally was a referee for Popeye's professional fights.

He has at least 24 college degrees and a "lofty" IQ.

Wimpy is quite the ladies' man. It's his silver tongue, again. He can sweet-talk any woman on Earth (and will surely try it if he finds out she has access to hamburgers). He has wooed all sorts of females, human and otherwise. He has had more than one affair with the SeaHag, and their relationship to this day is questionable.

He's a poet and here's a sample:

J. WELLINGTON WIMPY'S
APOSTROPHE TO A DESERT DAISY

Oh, flower of death, so frail, so red,
Growing from a thing so dead -
Even as l will! be quite soon-
Merely bones 'neath sun and moon
Oh, life -oh, death-so close akin,
Though death can't lose- life can't win
For death is sure, but life-ah well,
'Tis not for me to break the spell
That binds all things in a mighty plan
That can't be changed by laws of man -
That can't be altered by human tricks,
Or e'en be tilted by politics-
Fate alone can pull the strings
That control all human and earthly things.
It is just so: and so 'twill be,
Till the very end of Eternity-
So I cast my lot along with my kind,
And there'll be nobody above to remind-
To remind the gatekeeper an' pass the tip
That J.W. Wimpy was only a gyp.
But-shall you Live? You-just a weed!
To scatter forth your worthless seed-
While I, creation's thing supreme,
Pass on to further nature's scheme?
Nay! Nay! Not so! I'll turn about-
I'm Fate today, you lowly sprout-
I'll pull you up, you little cuss-
Hah! Dust do dust the each of us!
Oh, desert daisy, so pure, so sweet,
You grew from soil that once was meat-
Aye, meat of my choice you chose for food-
Oh, why?-Why have I been so rude?
We both crave beef; we're unlike the others- We're kindred souls; we may be brothers-
But I've killed you. my flower so bright, Plucked you from your home so white.
Sorrow stills my desert madness,
Wild emotions turn to sadness-
But in my brain there is no lull.
ror I picked you from your desert skull-
A skull your throne, whereupon you sat-
And the skull of a cow at that, at that-
And the skull of a lovely cow at that-
And the skull of a lovely cow at that-
