MooPig Incoherent Numbers Division :: "We Have a Million Page-views"

IDK, Maybe We Should Re-take Our Vows
by Pat Darnell  |  June 29, 2014  |  Bryan TX

From an obscure point in time, in an essentially unknown city, on a day like any other day MooPig became a blog. It appeared first in a beta version of blogger provided by Google. That was in 2006. There were no measuring tools provided for blogger in those days. Then sometime in July 2007, stats began being kept by Google for MooPig. In July '07 we had 22,456 "Page-views."

Too much excitement for us!

So we subscribed to Googles measuring tools. Today we passed one million views. What it intrinsically means, I don't know, IDK.

So to put this in perspective, we rely on comparisons. And, like all blogs, we will exaggerate our importance by comparing our page-views to a totally unrelated famous person. For grins and shits, let's say Miley Cyrus posts this note in her "whatever" electronic device and sends it out over the net ...
Cyrus has a heart condition called tachycardia, which is a resting heart rate exceeding normal. In early 2014, Cyrus suffered an allergic reaction to the antibiotic, Cephalexin, prescribed to her to treat a sinus infection. Due to the allergy, Cyrus was hospitalized at a Kansas City hospital (straight out of Y ikki peed ya)..."
Miley Cyrus will get a million page-views as fast as it takes a million fingers to punch in a million "LIKES."

MooPig is a blog about nothing in particular, that is, it does not follow one subject, but rather zigzags, winds, twists, turns, curves, curls, bends, and snakes its merry way around issues and malarkey that catch its attention. About nothing, for nothing, sells nothing, slowest growing rag in the natural world, is our MooPig blogger dot com.

[What MooPig really is:  3000 letters to my six children, who have never read more than 0.01% of it. PD]

BUT WE HAVE A MILLION PAGE-VIEWS! Gosh darn it, that's amazing.

First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but damn is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on makeup. She is extremely self-centered and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe.
The next chick is completely the opposite. She might even be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career opportunities are endless, and yet she is here with us. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm not sure she even showers, much less shaves her "womanly" parts. I think she might be a lesbian, because every time we drive by the hardware store, she moans like a cat in heat.
But the jewel of the crowd has got to be the $#@!ing stoner. And this guy is more than just your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I'm sure after work. He probably hasn't been sober anytime in the last ten years, and he's only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960's, and to make things worse, he brings his big $#@!ing dog to work. Every $#@!ing day I have to look at this huge Great Dane walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think it's trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Also, both of them are constantly hungry, requiring multiple stops to McDonalds and Burger King, every single $#@!ing day.
Anyway, I drive these $#@!tards around in my van and we solve mysteries and $#@!.

MooPig :poop: Department :: "Earth as a Toilet"

Most Will Shy Away from this Discussion
Mashed Martial Articles by Pat Darnell  |  June 28, 2014  |  Bryan TX
"What is shocking in India is this picture [HERE] of someone practicing open defecation and in the other hand having a mobile phone," said Maria Neira, director of Public Health at the WHO.
We can only imagine what an Indian wedding is like. The dogged truth is that bears do shit in the woods. When you are surrounded by a world of shit, there is still wonderful things all around to look at -- or is there ...?
"... Paris lovers try not to notice the dog poop everywhere, but they have to be careful anyway. In my neighborhood, if you don't have your eyes riveted on the sidewalk as you walk, you will have a nasty surprise on your shoes when you get home. Hundreds of people a year wind up in the hospital after slipping in the dog poop ( LINK) ..."
And then, there are 14 places you can aspire to pee/poop, including the ISS, ski slopes, underwater, and others, according to this article:
"...13. The Ski-Jump Toilet
Japan’s Madarao-Kogen hotel is home to the simulated ski-jump toilet, offering maximum comfort without the harshness of winter: “The cubicles were fully wrapped on all sides, so that the person caught short would have a ski jumper’s view when they were sitting on the loo.” (LINK)..."

This bit started with this article:

One Billion People Still Practise Open Defecation, Endangering Public Health: UN: "Tom Miles GENEVA, May 8 (Reuters) - One billion people worldwide still practise "open defecation" and they need to be told that this leads to the spread of fatal diseases, U.N. experts said on Thursday at the launch of a study on drinking water and sanitation. "'Excreta', 'faeces', 'poo', I could even say 'shit' maybe, this is the root cause of so many diseases," said Bruce Gordon, acting coordinator for sanitation and health at the World Health Organization."
'via Blog this

"... Many countries have made great progress in tackling open defecation, with Vietnam and Bangladesh - where more than one in three people relieved themselves in the open in 1990 - virtually stamping out the practice entirely by 2012."

"...India's government has now woken up to the need to change attitudes, he said, with a "Take the poo to the loo" campaign that aims to make open defecation unacceptable, helped by a catchy YouTube video.  ."

Depend on MooPig to keep you informed. We will be monitoring all forms of excrement through out the world, and maybe make some charts up, and possibly mash a bunch of articles together to help you in your scatological pursuits. Remember -- we at MooPig will always be better than FOX News! Don't want to set the barre too high now.

Things we still want to know:

  1. Has Bill Gates entered the stage where he locks himself in a Hotel room and doesn't bathe?
  2. What became of the Westboro Baptist Church media whores?
  3. Does Jose still work for Kennedy Underground Utilities Company? His job was to find water, no matter where he was.
  4. If I put Erika Eleniak's picture on this post, will it become a number one in page-views post?
  5. Why do networks pixel-ate out sponsors on UFC fighters' shorts and shirts when they show reruns of their fights?
  6. Why does my foot shake when I type? Is that restless leg syndrome? I am, after all, almost 60.

Continue Searching, or, Doing Nothing
Insolent mashed articles by Pat Darnell  |  June 28, 2014  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK]

The following makes many assumptions. First it asks you to accept that there are gods, people, and animals all living to support each other in, on, and, around Earth. Then it assumes that you will accept that the gods tamper with people, because people are a rabble and need to be disciplined. Ouch! The animals, well, they get sacrificed.

Tampering with people turns out to be random, and based on whim of the gods. People also try to imitate the gods, while also trying to get to the gods in their "realms."

It would be nice if we had a photo of the gods and the people from 12,000 years ago, but pictures are now only reaching their apogees on the Internet, as pictures are digitally realized, copied, tampered with... culminating in a porn media outburst. You think porn is limited to naked sex videos? Think again...

Porn is defined as anything that tantalizes the emotions, or causes arousal. Today we have translations of what was said at Plato's symposium, which mirrors our current state of affairs. The internet is an explosion of porn at all levels. Volumes of opinions and facts tear away the disguises of modern life. However, 2350 years ago, one concept is the idea presented by Aristophanes, a story about soul mates. His theory makes people into sad, sorry, searching, split-apart humans.

The Internet is, some say, 60% porn. If the Internet is porn driven, and I agree it is, it will continue that way irregardless of who says what. But Plato held a Symposium back in the day -- symposiums are drinking parties; he had speakers step up, like Aristophanes, and explain the nature of things. The TED talks of 350 BC. The speeches were tantalizing.

" ... The first ever written reference to each person having a destined mate was given from the ancient Greek philosopher, Plato's [symposium]. His theory was that each human being is part of one soul, in which they only have half of. The idea is that the soul was “split-apart” and separated from each other– and the two halves would forever long for one another. When the two find each other, there would be an unspoken understanding of one another. ( LAURYN on December 16, 2013. LINK)

" ... According to Plato the man was so like this Apple, perfect. It was enough to Himself and was happy. There were no distinctions between men and women. There were only These individuals perfect and happy, Only That One day Zeus who was jealous of Their perfection ... ... and from on That Day, the man Began to desperately seek Their Own half alone Because it felt incomplete and unhappy. Just how many times did he could not ever find the ITS midpoint. And still does not, Because it is practically impossible to find half and Their Recognize it. It would take a miracle. ( Translated by Bing ) ."

After she’d gone to sleep
Now I got

That I can’t keep

I got no money
No town is mine
Only this mouth harp
And I is blind

I will tell you this:
Every town I gwane tho’
I has a witness, ya’ know
Someone always there

Allus’ helps me around
One was my Pi’ony X-spress
Yep, one in every town ...
z'ares somm'ere a princess
I giv'in you a witness
... in every rapturous town
[from "Only Thing Left to Do..." by Pat Darnell]

While you dear reader air out these theories, you might look at the nature of media today. Media today pretty much just completes the Platonic era of boastful rhetoric, circa 350 BC. Is there really nothing new under the sun?

No wonder humans act like they are hard up. Split-apart from any factual state of being, we have to continue searching, or, doing nothing. Not much of a choice, is it?

More Water than all our Oceans, all Underground
Mixed martial articles by David Darnell and Pat Darnell  |  June 17, 2014  |  Bryan TX

[Picture LINK] "...Blue planet: Ringwoodite minerals reveal hints of what things might look like deep within the Earth..."

Waters from the deep is a common way to describe mysterious deposits of water underground. How deep? Well this referenced article claims 400 miles deep in the Earth's mantle is a vast deposit of water.

"...This water is not in a form familiar to us — it is not liquid, ice or vapour. This fourth form is water trapped inside the molecular structure of the minerals in the mantle rock. The weight of 250 miles of solid rock creates such high pressure, along with temperatures above 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, that a water molecule splits to form a hydroxyl radical (OH), which can be bound into a mineral's crystal structure (Kounteya Sinha, TNN | Jun 13, 2014. LINK)..."

Massive underground reservoir of water, ‘three times’ the size of Earth’s oceans, located - The Times of India: ""Melting of rock at this depth is remarkable because most melting in the mantle occurs much shallower, in the upper 50 miles," said Schmandt. "If there is a substantial amount of H2O in the transition zone, then some melting should take place in areas where there is flow into the lower mantle, and that is consistent with what we found."

"...If just one percent of the weight of mantle rock located in the transition zone is H2O, that would be equivalent to nearly three times the amount of water in our oceans. "

"...The Quest of science is far from over and nature has abundant resources yet to be discovered and used for needs of humanity. All that is needed is to inspire our scientists for genuine research and keep sufficient funds for them to use (Tejinder Sidhu-- CHANDIGARH. LINK)..."

How to get 400 miles deep into Earth's mantle is what we will be Googling for our next segment. I suggest Chilean miners go because they are the best.

[Picture LINK] Navy researchers at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Materials Science and Technology Division, demonstrate proof-of-concept of novel NRL technologies developed for the recovery of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) from seawater and conversion to a liquid hydrocarbon fuel.

Here's a short article on the newest development in solving global warming by the US NAVY. You won't believe what you are reading. I am posting this one article now but will be looking around for who, what, when, how, and why of this spectacular development.

It's hydrocarbons from sea water, folks.

– The U.S. Navy Just Announced The End Of Big Oil And No One Noticed: "People have been asking for more details about the process. This is from the Naval Research Laboratory’s official press release:
"Using an innovative and proprietary NRL electrolytic cation exchange module (E-CEM), both dissolved and bound CO2 are removed from seawater at 92 percent efficiency by re-equilibrating carbonate and bicarbonate to CO2 and simultaneously producing H2. The gases are then converted to liquid hydrocarbons by a metal catalyst in a reactor system."
"...In plain English, fuel is made from hydrocarbons (hydrogen and carbon). This process pulls both hydrogen and carbon from seawater and recombines them to make fuel. The process can be used on air as well but seawater holds about 140 times more carbon dioxide in it so it’s better suited for carbon collection."
